"Un pont traverse le temps"
Broadcast in the Left Bank building, this 12-minute documentary film completes the Pont du Gard's permanent cultural programme and uses beautiful images and illustrations to retrace the Pont du Gard's 2,000-year history.

"Un Pont traverse le Temps" invites viewers to travel from one era to the next to discover the monument's very long life in the company of a unique guide, a dragonfly, created using computer-generated images. Based on beautiful images of the bridge, mainly from the air, this film provides the key information you need to understand the history of the Pont du Gard. It's an essential complement before or after visiting the monument.
Produced entirely in high-definition digital, with no audio commentary, it is projected in a loop in the cinema. The shots alternate between video images, educational illustrations, animations and chronological references.
