Summer Foodtrucks
From 5 July to 31 August, take advantage of a foodtrucks offer to enjoy your evenings at the Pont du Gard. Every evening, three different foodtrucks will be on hand, plus a wine-tasting stand to give you something different to enjoy while you wait for the sound and light show.
Join us on the esplanade on the right bank from 7pm, to enjoy the sunset over the monument in a friendly atmosphere. If you're a pétanque fan, this could be the perfect opportunity to play a game with friends. You can bring your own petanque game or borrow one on site.
This summer at the Pont du Gard, it's all about conviviality! To make the most of the balmy summer evenings, the river banks and the sunset over the monument, foodtrucks are setting up on the right bank esplanade from 7pm onwards, offering a different gourmet menu every evening to tantalise your taste buds. It's the perfect opportunity to take a refreshing break after your day's sightseeing or while you wait for the sound and light show starting at 10.30pm.
Whether you're looking for a picnic on the beach or a cosy spot on the esplanade, in the shade of the hundred-year-old plane trees, our Foodtruck offer is the perfect alternative for enjoying your evening at the Pont du Gard in style. And when it's time for an aperitif, the right bank is transformed into a playground for pétanque fans, with the possibility of organising a game with family or friends. If you don't have your own petanque game, don't worry, we'll lend you some! Just ask at the ice truck on site.
Every Monday evening from 14 July to 18 August, we'll be hosting musical aperitifs with a DJ set
Every Tuesday evening from 15 July to 19 August, come and dance the night away in a ballroom atmosphere, with a different programme every week, including world balls, traditional balls, tango balls, etc.
Every Wednesday evening from 16 July to 20 August, come and enjoy a wine tasting as part of the "Winegrowers on the Bridge" programme
And at nightfall, to round off your evening at the Pont du Gard, the highest Roman bridge in the world is transformed into a giant screen for a fabulous sound and light show entitled "The Wonders of Life". A pure moment of magic and enchantment that will delight young and old alike!
It's the perfect opportunity to relax, have fun and enjoy the balmy summer evenings with family and friends.
