Summer dances
The Pont du Gard site will be transformed into a dance floor for six special evenings, reviving the tradition of summer dances.
An eclectic programme will be on offer every Tuesday, from 14 July to 18 August, taking visitors and dance enthusiasts on a journey to the four corners of the globe in a friendly and festive atmosphere.
Tuesday 14 July: Rockumbero - ROÉ: brief news from an electric rumbero - A unique sound that fuses the raw energy of rock with the spellbinding rhythms of flamenco rumba,
Tuesday 21 July: La Belle équipe – Manu and Co - Guinguette spirit and a repertoire of 100% French chanson
Tuesday 28 July: La Guinguette à roulette by Les Gaspards – songs from the popular repertoire such as musette, swing, tango, gypsy tunes and klezmer
Tuesday 4 August: Bric à brac combo – A jumble of styles: a waltz, a cumbia, an offbeat tango, almost unbridled punk, bossa nova, zouk or counterfeit hip hop
Tuesday 11 August: Argentine Tango Ball from 7pm to midnight. – Organised by Milonga Del Angel
Tuesday 18 August: Goyana or Les Gaspards – a duo of singer-guitarists from Nîmes playing music with influences from Spain, Andalusia, the Camargue and Latin America
For all music evenings: Esplanade Rive Droite, from 7pm to midnight.
Several food trucks every evening. Parking: €9 per vehicle, free for season ticket holders
