EASTER AT THE BRIDGE - The street arts festival in the countryside
The famous Easter event at the Pont du Gard site returns on 5 and 6 April 2026 to celebrate the long-awaited arrival of spring in a festive, gourmet atmosphere with a rural feel!
As every year, the Pont du Gard site and its Mémoires de garrigue area are transformed for a weekend into a vast playground with entertainment, shows and music.
The tastes and flavours of the garrigue will once again be in the spotlight this year with the famous farmers' market and picnic featuring local produce, to be shared with family or friends.
Music and artists will be on the move: visitors will come across them at the market, during the picnic and also when they least expect it!
And, as every year, on Monday 6th April in the morning, there will be the famous egg hunt in the Mémoires de garrigue area, an opportunity to make some funny encounters on the garrigue trails.
Many discoveries and a whole range of surprises await young and old alike during these two convivial and festive days in an exceptional setting.
Easter shows at Pont du Gard 2026
For the Easter at Pont du Gard 2026 event, the Pont du Gard site will host a rich programme of live shows combining street arts, circus, music, dance and theatre. Over two days, visitors can enjoy original performances in different areas of the site, between the scrubland and the ancient monument.
The programme includes burlesque circus with Zèle d'Obus, a family musical show with Les Touristes, a mechanical theatre performance with L'Effet Goldberg, and contemporary dance with Gush is Great. Brass bands, artistic parades and participatory shows complete this festive programme designed for all audiences, especially families. In an exceptional natural and heritage setting, these Easter shows at the Pont du Gard transform the site into a veritable open-air stage where creativity, humour and poetry come together.

Tastings, picnics, local produce
The tastes and flavours of the garrigue will be in the spotlight with the Mediterranean market, tastings and the famous farmer's picnic.
A farmers' market on the Mémoires de Garrigue hill with fruit juices, wines, cheeses, jams and seasonal produce. From 10am to 6pm.
The farmer's picnic: In the shade of the holm oaks, at the foot of the olive trees, settle down wherever you like... Don't forget to reserve your picnic basket with Bienvenue à la ferme!
